HOPING FOR THE BEST, GLASGOW SCHOOL OF ART

I was so upset to hear the Glasgow School of Art suffered a bad fire yesterday.  The masterpiece designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1909 is a fabulous example of Machintosh's unique take on the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic Movement styles.  It seems much of the building was saved by a great many brave firefighters, however, the fate of the architect's library is still unknown, the room that is considered the most important of his work.  I hope I can keep this building on my list of 'must see architecture'.
