Complete with lounge area, media room, custom bar and pool table, I understand the appeal of staying in. After completing the basic basement finishing including this bathroom project completed last year, we started on the furniture, custom bar and accent lighting. Travel factored prominently in my clients life, so in addition to family travel photos and foreign-inspired artwork (and union jack throw pillows:), we also installed a large cork board map so the family could track their travels around the globe. Grays, greens and pops of red created the color palette, with some rustic industrial touches giving texture and warmth. This project was almost as much fun to work on as the space is to lounge in!

EXCELLENT ENTERTAINING SPACE
I know it is a complement when my clients tell me they have little need to leave the house now that their ultimate 'play-at-home' basement space has been completed.

Beautiful photos by Melissa McCafferty as usual!
